Your first visit to a Korean-style salon in Hanoi
If you have just moved to Hanoi, or you are used to salons at home and not sure what happens here, this is the walk-through we give new guests at the counter.
Booking is done by message, not by app
In Vietnam most salons take bookings through Zalo, the messaging app almost everyone uses, or through KakaoTalk if the salon serves the Korean community. A short message with your name, the service you want and the time you would like is enough. Voice notes are common and perfectly acceptable.
At New Seoul you can also use the booking form on this website, or simply call 0965 917 061. We reply in English, Korean, Japanese or Chinese, so write in whichever language is comfortable for you.
Prices are fixed and published
Our four combos have one price each, and the only thing that changes it is the room type. There is no service charge and no negotiation. A tip for the therapist is not included and is never added automatically; the suggested tip is 150,000 VND. If someone offers you a treatment that is not on the printed menu, ask the price before you agree - that is good practice anywhere in the city.
What happens during the visit
You take off your shoes at the door and are given slippers and a locker for your bag. A cup of hot tea arrives, then a warm mineral salt foot bath while the therapist checks your scalp and asks what you want to focus on.
From there the treatment follows the combo you chose. Shaving is done with a fresh blade; ear cleaning uses proper ear tools, not cotton buds; nail trimming includes both hands and feet. You are covered with a towel during body massage and only the area being worked on is uncovered.
Practical details
We are open every day from 09:00 to 22:00 and the last appointment starts at 21:00. Payment is in cash or by bank transfer, so bring dong or be ready to scan a QR code. Motorbike parking is free in front of the house; for a car, tell us in advance.
The salon is in House B2 of the Five Star Villa area, inside Alley 176 Dinh Thon, My Dinh 1, Nam Tu Liem - about five minutes by taxi from Keangnam Landmark 72.
A word on ear cleaning and shaving
Ear cleaning and traditional shaving are standard parts of a Vietnamese or Korean-style salon visit, and they are included in all four combos. If you would rather skip one of them, say so - the price stays the same and the time is added to your head or foot massage instead.
